Bibi van der Velden
Creative fine jeweller Bibi van der Velden combines inspiration from the natural world with a romantic edge to create unique, eye-catching pieces with a fantasy-like aesthetic. Trained as a sculptor, she studied at The Florence Academy of Arts and the Royal Academy of Arts in The Hague before training in the craft of jewellery design to create what she calls ‘wearable works of art’. From her studio in Amsterdam the designer consciously sources precious materials, from sustainable gold and malachite to scarab beetle wings and gemstones. Expect statement rings, drop earrings and pendant necklaces intended to express, connect and make a statement.
